Hey guys, here is part 2 to the natural detox tips.. No extremes just a natural way...
6. Use the healing spices mentioned in this post in your cooking and smoothies to fight inflammation and more.
7. Tea ... There are so many great ones out there. I'll put a link to some good ones (I'll ones I've tried otherwise I wouldn't link it).. But they have tea for skin, stress, detox and more...
A GREAT Tip...is if you hate the taste of tea(Like me:) Then open tea bags and put them in your green smoothie in the morning or if you don't do green smoothies put them in your protein shake!
Here's a good skin tea.
A good detox tea.
A good to for an upset stomach.
A good tea for stress.
This one taste's amazing, but has no real benefits:)~:)
Here's one for chocolate lover's but again no benefits but chocolate!!!:)
8. Fiber. You have to get enough fiber in your diet. High fiber and volume foods like fruit, veggies, coconut flour, and whole grains.. and eating enough of them help you reach your fiber goal. You'll so much better. Some people need even more than 25 grams. Also, make sure you get soluble and insoluble.
9. Greens. If your body is an acidic state it will not detox. I've talked about it a lot on the blog. If you struggle with greens I'll do a post on how to get more greens tomorrow so stay toned.
10. Be regular. I talked about it a lot on the other detox post and in the fiber tip, but I just wanted to repeat it I'll give tips for this on Tuesday. I know your just dying to read that;)..
HAVE A GREAT DAY! I hope this helps!~

Healing Spices #foodiefriday
Hey you guys, I thought I'd continue with yesterdays theme~ Today I'll do a post on how to incorporate spices into your diet that fight inflammation and tons more. Some you may know but I think some will surprise you~:)
1. This is one you may now but turmeric/curcumin. Turmeric has NUMEROUS studies showing it's healing benefits for cancer-, and reducing inflammation which is SO important.
Ways to use it: Great on Avocado Toast, On fish, Stir Fries, Salads
*You can also take it in pill from, if you suffering from any kind of inflammation related illness I definitely recommend it.
If your interested in purchasing turmeric here are two links:
Here is the powder form.
Here is the pill form.
(Cupon Code: Free Shipping on all orders+$5 off: RQANXY) *** Applies to all the links below***
(Also it's $5 off $25 I believe:)
2. The second is SUPER popular, but cinnamon. Cinnamon not only tastes amazing but is great for balancing blood sugar. You don't need to have hypo/hyperglycemia to have blood sugar issues. A lot of cravings and mindless eating comes from low blood sugar. With stable blood sugar you will find you are much more mindful when you eat. It is also said to boost metabolism, but I have not found any valid science on that. You get a lot more benefits when you buy high quality cinnamon like the one below but definitely that's not the only one or anything!:)
It is so much cheaper to buy it in bulk(cuz I Know a lot of ya'll use a lot of cinnamon:)
Here is that link. - can you use coupon above.
3. The last one I will share for today is ginger root. Ginger is SO healing to the GI tract and helps reduce bloating. So if you are having issues when you eat then definitely try adding some high quality ginger root on your food.
Link here.
Super good uses: In baking, Salads, Stir Fries, Juices, Smoothies
Get powder here.
Get pills here if your having GI issues.
Don't forget coupon if your getting them:)
I'll definitely do a second post on this, because these are super helpful little tricks and I have other tricks to get these in your diet that I don't have time for today! Ps. You definitely don't have to use my links I just add them cuz it's some of the cheapest(with $0 shipping and cupon) that I have found or I like the quality/brand:)
Have a great day and how do you like to use the above spices:)???

5 Ways to Detox Naturally Everyday and what makes Cleanses so good (read first)...
Hey you guys today I come at ya with a post about detox. Detox is such a buzz word these days with a new "clease" coming out every other day. I do not believe in cleanses or anything like that. A lot of the time they are short starvation diets.
What makes cleanses so good is not what you are eating, but what you are not eating. In other words, you can get the probably get the same results as far as "detox" goes eating a whole food vegan diet with enough food and make is sustainable vs. going on and off a starvation diet leaving you with a bad mindset. Okay, rant over:)
But you can work with your body to help it detox naturally. A lot of people don't even realize this, but it's your liver that helps you detox so your better off helping your body be more efficient and let it do what it's designed to do. The other thing is your not actually detoxing if nothing is coming out of you(I.e. going to the bathroom, sweating, etc.).
5 way to detox naturally:
1. Eat a whole foods vegan diet (or as close as possible to do with a healthy balanced mindset, see below). Kind of like I mentioned earlier, but you can't really detox if you keep putting "crap" in it. Chemicals, Toxins, Animal Products and Byproducts all aren't gonna help. If you can't keep a balanced mindset like I talk about below then eat fun foods in moderations, which I think is best. Balance, Just eat fun foods consciously and let them add to your life and your health.
2. Healthy Mindset...OhmyGosh this is SO important, no one truly realizes how key the mind and body connection is. In fact, did you know a ton of digestive disorder such as IBS are caused by stress. I truly believe good health will be very hard without working on yourself... talking, mediating, therapy if needed, nature, etc.
3. Dry Brush.. It's this tan brush( I will put the link below) you basically just brush your body with it before showers. Your skin is your largest organ so this is super beneficial. It helps remove crap from the skin, also great for cellulite (I will also link a very detailed post below for you).
Information on dry brushing click here.
Buy a dry brush click here.
4. Inversions. You hear about this a lot in yoga. You stand on your feet all day, switching the direction of the blood flow is very helpful.... Some ways to do it... Feet on the wall, shoulder stand, handstand, plow, headstand and if you really like it they have inversion tables which are amazing, but expensive, very popular in the detox circles.
5. Last but not least is rebounding. It looks a like a mini trampoline. It's SO good for the lymphatic system and getting everything moving. You can do it as a light workout or how I like to do it get up and jump 100x to get everything going. Here is where you can get it and more information (highly recommend!)

There are a few more tips that I didn't have time for today, if you want to know more let me know and let me know what you think.
As always have a great today. Oh,.and for more cool stuff follow me on instagram if you like here.
Have a wonderful day~

3 Yoga Tips And Tricks... For everyone who says they "can't" do Yoga:) #yogaeverydamnday
Hey guys, So everyday I someone tells me "I could never do yoga I'm not ____ enough." (Just fill in the blank...LOL!)
So I thought I'd give you some yoga tips and trips that help you get into cool postures.
1. Down Dog.. Your down dog should be far out enough where you can transition into plank without moving your feet back. Otherwise transitions are going to always feel really akward to you... Here is a good video on what I mean.
2. When doing poses where your flexibility is challenged. DON"T bounce. Go as far as you can hold for two long deep breaths, then inhale go a Tad further, TWO deep breaths, Repeat that one more time. Hold for a while. Yin Yoga is great for you and yes flexibility is super important. Here is a yin yoga routine(May seem hard and boring at first but you will grow to love it, promise!) and a stretch routine.
3. Are inversions your goal. Practice holding headstand or handstand for 1 min. every day (It's just 1 minute:). As you get better start to go a little further from the wall. Also work on plow and shoulder stands to. You'd be surprised on how much this helps! Attached is a pic of shoulder stands if you wanted to practice that too. Inversions, by the way, are great for detox, stress and have been linked extensively with longevity.. Heard of an inversion table.. Here is a free one:)
I hope these help! Let me know what you think and have a great day!

Cheesy Vegan Cinnamon Bean Dip. #strangebutreallygood
Here is an awesome recipe. Great post workout. High protein: Feed muscles. Filling: So you don't binge cuz your starving after leg day. Love this so much.
Cheesy Cinnamon Bean Dip:
-1c Beans. (Fiber, Resistant Starch, Protein)
-1/4-1/2c Nutritional Yeast (B12, Protein)
-Cinnamon (just a dash or it will be weird tasting) (Blood Sugar Balance)
-Flax Seeds (Digestion, Omega 3's) (If you are using this recipe after lifting just use a little flax cuz you don't want to much fat in your post workout meal so that can be changed:) ~Also I linked it to sprouted flax cuz that's easier to digest but you can use regular~
-Opts: Stevia or Almond Milk.
Mash all together. If you like it sweeter add the stevia and almond milk. If you want it cheesier add nutritional yeast.
It's so good. I served mine with romaine hearts and rolled them up like tacos, but if you want something even more filling can serve with ezekial bread, pita, corn tortilla chips, etc. :)
If you need the ingredients Pure Forumals has them... I just really like this site as you can see lol!:) So cheap! I linked it to the site you can use my cupon code if you want to! Code: RQANXY ($5 off, free shipping on every order no matter price, samples)
Let me know what you think! Have a great afternoon:)
